After some time without seeing his mother, Ángel Mari decides to bite the bullet and visit her at the nursing home where she is staying. He doesn’t like seeing how his mother has vanished beneath the skin of a senile old woman who no longer recognizes her own children. Based on the short story Ama by Iban Zaldua.
